“Life imitates art far more than art imitates life.” – Oscar Wilde

I suppose you could say this is true in my life. My dad used to tell me tall tales of a boy named Johnnie Walker. He never went the same place twice.

Twenty years later, I find myself more like Johnnie Walker than I care to admit. Though I’ve spent the majority of my time in the American South, I’ve lived in nine cities and have wandered many more. Often, I am but a passing tourist in my own town.

All this, and my thirst for adventure is not satisfied. The list of things I want to do in life is still bigger than my accomplishments.

I think this is a good way to live.
