Tap. Tap. Tap. Is this thing on?
Is anyone still listening to me?
So I’ve talked to all four of my fans (my close relatives and dearest friends – mom…surrogate mom…friend who sat in labor with me when I birthed my son…friend who ate out with me once a month for about a year – you know who you are), and I’m back by popular demand.
Sorry ’bout that. I took a personality test once. I tested dead even for introvert/extrovert. The personality test said this means I am personality X. Sexy huh? Bet you wish you could be an X.
Well, October was my introvert month. I didn’t talk to much of anyone, except to myself in my head, because that’s what we introverts do. Hmmm…did I actually just admit that? Oh…come on…you know you do it too!
Anyways, well I guess I’m done with all that and it’s time to be an extrovert again…so check back! I’ll be telling you all about Canada. See you soon!

My family lives in the city in Colorado. With young Titus, we were not too eager to get out to the mountains to camp. Extended day trips are also out of the question, since a screaming over-tired little boy is a bit of a joy-killer. However, it’s hard to head to the mountains and not get out in them, so we spent a nice half day eating donuts and hiking at the Rampart Reservoir Recreation Area.

Old boardwalks are iconic of the deep South. Many areas are too swampy for sidewalks, so parks build boardwalks through the swamps. Nothing like really getting in close to where the gators live.
Kenny took these shots last winter. I like them. They capture the eerie feeling I get in the swamps.

So, I feel the boardwalks need representation on my wall collage of Southern pictures. Which do you like?

I rather like old Southern trees. Methinks they’re just a wee bit creepy. Especially when I’m lost (or found!) on a country road at night.
Just look at the Spanish moss on that one.

Or that one.

Do you get a shiver down your spine?
So, tell me, which tree belongs in my photo collage for the blank wall in my new home? Either? Neither? Heaven forbid both. I’m not running a forest you know.
