Travel Oops. A lost Banff post. Here you go:
We heard about the Grizzly House from a local. It’s a funky fondue restaurant from the 60’s. We were promised the opportunity to cook elk and caribou on a hot rock.
Kenny was really excited about the chance to be a cave man and cook exotic raw meat on a hot rock, so we knew we would visit The Grizzly House. This place was so much fun!

Travel With all the hiking and raw-meat cooking we were doing in Banff, I wanted the chance to be 100% elegant. High tea at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel fit this bill.

Southern Life Hi friends.
This week will be a quiet one. Kenny and I are in Canada on vacation. Next summer we celebrate 10 years of marriage. Since we have expiring airline vouchers, hotel points and grandparent babysitters available now, we decided to celebrate now!
Stay tuned next week, ’cause I’m sure I’ll have many tales to tell upon my return.
